Originally built to assist new residents navigating the rapidly diversifying Las Vegas valley, the platform evolved into a premier lifestyle-intelligence engine merging real estate data with recreational and cultural insights in a single interactive environment.
Powered by advanced geolocation and mapping technologies, Neighborhood Guide delivers real-time, locale-aware discovery with immersive spatial visualization.

Opportunity
The Las Vegas Valley - one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States - lacked a unified, mobile-first platform combining lifestyle discovery with neighborhood-level real estate insights.
Users were forced to navigate multiple fragmented platforms to gather information about:
• Neighborhood atmosphere
• School zones
• Local coffee and restaurants
• Hiking trails
• Property availability
This resulted in inefficiency, poor decision-making context, and friction in the home-buying journey.
Core Market Gaps Identified:
• No centralized discovery platform combining lifestyle POIs and real estate
• Buyers lacked contextual insight into recreational and social amenities

Preesoft Engineering Systems identified this gap as a high-impact digital transformation opportunity and partnered with Neighborhood Guide to build a scalable, map-first discovery ecosystem tailored to modern Vegas residents.
Approach
Preesoft adopted an agile, discovery-first methodology centered around a "Map-First" product philosophy. The transformation was guided by three strategic pillars:
01 Discovery & Research
Granular taxonomy mapping: Neighborhood -> Community -> POI Categories. Defined entity structures for: Neighborhoods, Coffee Shops, Restaurants, Hiking Trails, Points of Interest.
02 Agile Development
Iterative sprint cycles with performance optimization focus: Mapbox GL rendering efficiency, Marker clustering, Conditional rendering based on zoom, Smooth real-time filtering.
03 User-Centred Design
A bold "Vibrant Vegas" design system featuring Primary Color: #DD2700 (Primary Red), interactive animations, custom iconography, and intuitive filter UX.
The experience was designed to allow seamless switching between: 'Looking for a home' and 'Looking for a hike' within the same unified interface.
